Things aren’t quite going to plan at West Brom at the moment.
The Baggies have failed to win each of their last three games, losing to both Wigan and Newcastle before drawing with Swansea.
The Midlands club are no longer top of the Championship, and if their winless run continues for much longer they could soon find themselves falling out of the automatic promotion spots.
Fortunately, there is one simple change that Slaven Bilic could implement that could breath new life into the side.
Baggies’ problems
It’s fair to say that West Brom’s problems as of late have been going forward.
They’ve failed to score in their last two league games, and that’s something they’ll certainly be desperate to remedy.

One may imagine that a change is needed in the number 9 role, but the fact of the matter is that chance creation is what is letting the Baggies down. They’ve been limited to just four shots on target over their last two league matches.
So, how do you address a problem like that? The solution looks to be rather simple.
Move Pereira
It’s no coincidence that West Brom’s underwhelming recent form in front of goal has coincided with Matheus Pereira being moved out to the right-wing.
The Brazilian has just two assists in seven games since moving out to the right in early February, and while that doesn’t sound like a terrible record, it’s poor when you compare it to his stats when playing centrally where he has nine assists in 19 games.
Not only would moving Pereira into the middle improve his game, but it would also allow Bilic to ditch Filip Krovinovic, a man who hasn’t contributed to a goal in any of his last six outings.
Deploying Pereira in the middle would allow Kamil Grosicki to start on the wing too, and we all know how effective he can be after contributing to 21 goals for Hull last term.
The manager could kill two birds with one stone with this switch, and he shouldn’t hesitate to make this change.
In other news, West Brom fans have all been saying the same thing about Grady Diangana.
