The majority of Leeds fans that answered our poll were keen for the club to target Celtic centre-back Dedryck Boyata in January, after Brendan Rodgers claimed that his squad was bloated.
Bhoys manager Rodgers told BT Sport last Sunday that he had too many players, and although Boyata is clearly not one of the players he would like to see leave, the Belgian may try to force a move in January after failing in the summer.
The soon-to-be out-of-contract 27-year-old made three appearances for his country at this summer’s World Cup and looked set to move on from Parkhead, but after a public falling out with the club he has now worked his way back into the starting line-up.
Leeds though should splash the cash and test Celtic’s resolve with Boyata as they push for promotion to the Premier League. The Whites started the season brilliantly under new boss Marcelo Bielsa, but have tailed off in recent weeks thanks to a number of high-profile injuries.
In total, 69 per cent of Leeds fans that responded to our poll said they would back a move for the central defender. Check out the full results below.
