U.S. international Sergino Dest is set to return for PSV this Saturday after over 300 days due to an ACL injury suffered last spring. The American fullback will be a part of the Matchday squad for the first time since the 2023-24 season PSV coach Peter Bosz confirmed on Friday.
"If everything goes well, Dest will be in the squad tomorrow," Bosz said speaking at a pre-game press conference.

The U.S. right back made 37 appearances last season, scoring two goals and recording seven assists as PSV won the Eredivisie title. He joined the club on loan from Barcelona prior to the season, and despite his injury, the Dutch side opted to make his transfer permanent in the summertime.
Internationally, Dest has 33 caps, with his last appearance being in March 2024. He was not named to the USMNT's preliminary 60-man roster for the 2025 CONCACAF Nations League finals, therefore he will not be able to be selected for the event later this March. However, if he stays fit, he will be available for selection this summer in the CONCACAF Gold Cup.
